The Great Cawston Switch On 2021

As we all know, current conditions mean that holding our annual celebration of Christmas around the Cawston Tree will not be possible again this year. Whilst this is a huge shame, it does not mean that Christmas is cancelled!

Instead, Cawston Parish Council invite you to light up Cawston. If you would like to join in; simply decorate your home, garage or garden however you would like. Then turn your display on at some point during the weekend of 4/5th December.

The Cawston Christmas Tree will be switched on that weekend too.

We invite you to take a socially distanced tour around the estate over the following few weeks to take a look at all the decorations. Please ensure that you stick to any government guidance prevailing during that time – stay 2m apart from other households, avoid crowds etc.

In the following weeks, some Cawston Parish Councillors will also take a look around at all the displays and choose 3 participants to win a hamper – in time for Christmas.
